Zionism began as a political movement with a pronounced emphasis on socialism. But it was nationalistic, too; this sectarian flaw undermined its leftist commitment to equality & internationalism, also the strong Jewish tradition of justice.

Hence the political & financial hijacking of Zionism by the very rich minority of super-rich Jews in the West. Zionism became a right-wing, ultra-nationalistic movement. The Palestinians were its first & most prominent victims, but globally, many others have suffered under Zionism & its AIPAC vehicle. Zionism is now a powerful engine of anti-Democratic, world corporatism.

But please note: many Jews are NOT Zionists, but fighting opponents, inside & outside Israel. They remain committed to the visceral Jewish love of fairness & justice. Their enemies are the Zionists, bent on global rule by an obscenely rich 'elite' of supra-national oligarchs, bankers & else. To fall for the blind hatred of 'Jews' is to become the mirror-image of the Zionists - very much what these evil power benders want.
